If you want to go to the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ games by car, you should pay attention to the traffic signs throughout the route, since the detours will begin 5 hours before the beginning of the games.
Check out the changes in the traffic flow and plan ahead:
- Bonocô Ave. (towards Comércio) will have traffic restricted beginning at the access to Vale do Ogunjá;
- Vale de Nazaré (towards Bonocô Ave.) will have traffic restricted in the area of the Comercial Ramos store;
- Vasco da Gama Ave. (towards Dike) the restriction will begin at the JK overpass, where all traffic will be diverted to Garibaldi Ave.;
- Joana Angélica Ave., from Center Lapa, towards Campo da Pólvora, only residents’ vehicles will have access;
- Nazaré (towards Centro) the restriction will begin at Marquês de Barbacena Lane (SESC);
- Galés Road, traffic will be diverted to Djalma Dutra Street.

On game days, avoid traveling on the avenues Bonocô, Vale de Nazaré, Vasco da Gama, Vale dos Barris, Joana Angélica and Vale do Ogunjá.
