The city of Salvador has 7,000 taxis that will be available during the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ in order to better serve the fans.

To reach the Fonte Nova Arena, you should use the point that is closest to your hotel or residence, or use the radio services available in the city.

When leaving the games, Taxi points will be available around the Fonte Nova Arena; they will always be activated at halftime.

 

FOR ARRIVAL:

  • Bonocô Avenue, entrance to Ogunjá;
  • Vale de Nazaré Avenue, near the Comercial Ramos Store;
  • Joana Angélica Avenue – Piedade Gate;
  • Vasco da Gama Avenue, near the Juscelino Kubitschek Overpass;
  • Galés Road (recommended for PDRM);

 

FOR DEPARTURE: (Find it on the map) 

  • T1 -> Bonocô Avenue, after the Pitangueiras Overpass, towards Aquidabã;
  • T2 -> Vale de Nazaré, in front of the Comercial Ramos Store;
  • T3 -> Vasco da Gama, in front of Concessionária Sammar;
  • T4 -> Independência Street, in front of the Nutre Bem store;
  • T5 -> Galés Road (recommended for PDRM);

 

PEDESTRIAN ROUTES FROM THE ARENA TO THE TAXI POINTS:  (See the general map)

  • Leaving from the South gate: 

 

T1: Bonocô Avenue - Via Vasco da Gama Avenue to the access to Vale de Nazaré, going up the overpass.

T2: Vale de Nazaré Avenue – Around the Arena via Presidente Costa e Silva Avenue, continuing Vale de Nazaré under the overpass.

T3: Vasco da Gama - Via Presidente Costa e Silva Avenue (Dike), continuing to Centenário Avenue (Concessionária Sammar).

 

  • Leaving from the North gate:

 

T4: Independência Street - Via Fonte das Pedras Road, continuing on Joana Angélica Avenue and Campo da Pólvora until Independência Street. 

T5: Galés Road - Via Fonte das Pedras Road to Galés Road.
